Question Bunch of Newbie Questions...

Greetings!

These are very basic questions so be wared!

I just went through the searing. I must say it's one of the coolest things I've seen in a game...

I just arrived at Old Ascalon from the academy and:

1) I have 6 skill points. There's a trainer in in Old Ascalon, that only has ONE skill availble. Is this correct? I assume I have to go to other places to find trainers to spend my remaining skill points?

2) Is the "sell" screen on the Materials Trader useless? I dragged in 10 Bone to that window, and he was going to offer me 10g for it. They are worth 3g each at the merchant, so it appears that the sell window in the trader is a rip off.

3) Is there no one that crafts weapons in Old Ascalon? I found the 2 armor crafters, and the guy that will customize your existing weapons, but that's it.

4) I found a Monsterous Claw or something, it says "Rare crafting material" The merchant will buy it for 100g. That's a good deal of money to me right now, should I sell it or is it really useful for something else?

5) I finished the first quest for the "Feed the people" quest that the ambassador outside. He's got the green ! over his head, and he says thanks with the Accept button for the quest reward, but the Accept button does nothing and the window goes away. I can click on him over and over and "Accept" with no reward. Any ideas? Broken quest?

1. You can also do quests to get skills, and doing those quests will cost you no skill points. However since the beta the towns have been changed so that in pretty much every non-mission area town there will be a skill trainer, but you will only find about 4 skills there. (and thats if you don't already have them). Some of the more important towns will have more like 20 to chose from, but you will have half of them at least by the time you get there.

2. The prices at the materials trader fluctuate based on how many people are selling that material and how many people are buying.

3. Weapon crafters that actually craft new weapons are scarce. If you want a good weapon the best way to do it is to go out and get one as a drop. (Or buy it from another player, but I don't recomend that, it's usually not worth it)

4. Dunno that one. I've never used it, and I've probably sold it, but that doesn't mean your character wont need it.

5. I would wait a bit on that one, if it is a bug theres a chance it will be fixed soon. Other than that I don't have any ideas.

#5 sounds like your inventory is full and the Ambassador can't give you the item that is part of the reward. Clean up your inventory by salvaging or selling stuff. I do recommend holding on the fang though, rare crafting materials are generally worth more selling to another player rather than the merchant.
